Let's all say together, "Finally!" After four years, the Tolle family from Cambodia is finally coming for another visit to California. Only, this isn't quite the same Tolle family you met before. This will be Anna's (our youngest daughter) first trip, so there's one more neck to hug and one more mouth to feed.

If you would have asked us a couple of weeks ago, we would have told you we had not realistically thought about taking a trip this year. God has opened the door and we're coming. We've been working on a plan the last two weeks to see if it would be feasible and this week we picked up Yein's visa to the United States, which marks the last required approval to take the trip. Woohoo!

First things first, we want to see you! Our time and transportation are limited but let's be in touch about any and all options that seem feasible to find some time to get together. As this trip came about at the last minute, it does not allow for a lot of pre-planning to already be in place so please bear with me.

For now, I want to suggest a couple of items:

  • Would you take the time to fill out the form on this link. We'd love to bring you a little taste of Cambodia but, we figure there's no sense in bringing something you don't like, may be allergic to, or genuinely don't care about. If you don't fill it out, no worries, you'll leave it to me (a guy with no sense of smell and very little taste to determine what you like, but don't worry too much, I usually get my wife's advice as well). Also, after you fill out the first form, there's an optional second form to make sure we know how to be in touch with you. Click here to go the the form.

  • Do you have a house or location that can host a group of people? We'll be looking for homes to host meals to get smaller groups of people together to be with you and talk about all that is happening in our lives. We want to hear about what is happening in your life too! There is no pressure, but if you'd like to host a meal or know a place to host a meal, let us know.

  • We want to know the best way to be in touch with you. How do you prefer to be contacted? If you fill out the form in link above, it takes you to another page where you can put all this in, or you can simply respond to this email. Some suggestions of information we are looking for are below:

  • Messaging (if so, what app do you use?)

  • Email

  • Phone call

  • Old fashioned snail mail (Isn't amazing how times have changed, growing up this is all we would use with the occasional phone call as long as it it in the same area code)

  • Messenger bird

  • Message in a bottle thrown in the ocean

We are incredibly blessed by your partnership with us and commitment to see God's call on our life lived out in Cambodia and see the Good News shared. We look forward to seeing you, chatting with you, barbecuing, laughing, sipping on hot lattes and whatever else we can think of.

God bless you richly,

Sam (on behalf of Yein, Nora, Alina, Anna
